Building on a recent string of solid results, Ryan Helm (Jupiter Beach, FL) took out the ESM AIR SHOW at the 2006 Quiksilver King of the Peak in stormy 3-4' contestable conditions. Helm remains undefeated in the ESM Air Show having won the event a total of 4 out of 4 times entered, the last two times consecutive. Not only is Helm the undisputed all time ESM Airshow Champ, by winning the Air Show event this year and placing 2nd in the QS KOP Skins event, he walked away with the most cash out of all finalists at this year's event with a total of 6 Skins for $1,440 and $350 for 1st Place in the Air Show Final, to round out the weekend almost $2,000 richer!

 

This year's event was punctuated by the presence of KOP event co-founder and former King of the Peak winner, the recently crowned 8X World Champion Kelly Slater, who was on hand to watch some of the heats and catch a few waves at his home break of Sebastian Inlet.
