Ryan Helm - ASP North American Tour - Coast to Coast Bookend Stats

Ryan Helm equaled his 2nd best season start by finishing =4th in the Quarter Finals of the West Coast 4 Star WQS O'Neill Cold Water Classic at Santa Cruz, CA.; the last event on the 2006 ASP North American Tour. He started his 2006 campaign with an =4th Place Finish in the season Opener at the East Coast 4 Star WQS Globe SBI Pro at Sebastian Inlet, FL; the first event on the 2006 ASP North American Tour. If the 2007 schedule remains the same, O'Neill will start and end the North American Tour as they have taken the sponsorship reigns of the Florida, Sebastian Inlet event from Globe. The "bookend" finishes punctuate Helm's North American tour campaign.

 

Ryan Helm took out the highly acclaimed rookie surfer and fellow Quiksilver Team mate, Dane Reynolds on his route to the CWC Quarter Final finish. The California result continues and builds on Helm's recent roll of podium specialty event finishes in Florida and New York and provides momentum and ratings points as he heads to Hawaii for the next 4 Star Event, the XCEL PRO at Sunset Beach. Ryan Helm finished just behind fellow Anarchy Eyewear team mate; (WCT stand out) Cory Lopez, also of Florida.
